Cheers! A Toast to Apples!

Title of Product: Williams-Sonoma Five Apple Cider

Description: Apple Cider

Why do you like it?
Yummy! This sweet treat is great on a cold night. It is only sold during the holiday season at Williams-Sonoma and it isn't cheap. It makes a wonderful gift or bring it to your Christmas party as a special treat for everyone. It is made from Apple concentrate. You mix one part apple concentrate and 3 parts water then heat it up. The also sell a wonderful mulled spice mixture to go with it for extra flavoring. No junk in the ingredients but watch out it is loaded with natural sugar. A little goes a long way!

Don't knock it 'til you try it!

Title of Product: Beech Nut Apple Delight

Description: Baby Food dessert

Why do you like it?
It packs great in your lunch and tastes gourmet! Yes, I know it is baby food but for about 50 cents you can treat yourself to the best applesauce there is. Baby food is a great way to insert healthy ingredients into your diet. It is basically pureed food that can be used as a clinging agent or sweetener in foods or just eat it out of the jar! I can't recommend the dinners but the fruity desserts are top notch! Still seems weird... well, it isn't for everyone but it is healthy and convenient.

Juice Made From Fruit!

Title of Product: Juicy Juice

Description: Grape Juice

Why do you like it?
It has apple juice, grape juice, and pear juice along with Absorbic Acid and natural flavors. No corn syrup and no added sugar. You always have to watch the amount of sugar in juices and this is no exception. It tastes very sweet and delicious and grape is a great alternative to the juices that are more acidic. It makes for a nice sweet treat for breakfast or after dinner.

My Childhood Flashback Snack!

Title of Product: Mott's Natural Applesauce

Description: Applesauce

Why do you like it?
It just has apples in it! The list is: apples, water and Absorbic Acid(Vitamin C). There is no corn syrup, no chemicals, just natural ingredients. There are several kinds of Mott's Applesauce available so be sure to look for the one called "Natural." I use it in cooking and by itself as a snack with a little sprinkle of cinnamon. There are a few other brands that make natural applesauce but this one is usually priced better.

Real Jelly from real Fruit! For real!

Title of Product: Polaner All Fruit Spread

Description: Jelly

Why do you like it?
I was looking for a Grape Jelly with natural ingredients. This proved to be very difficult because most jelly have corn syrup. Polaner makes several different flavors and they are all fruit based. This one tastes great but it is a little more expensive for the amount you get than the big brands.

Yummy Granola Bars!

Title of Product:
Quaker - Simple Harvest Granola Bars

Description: Mulit-grain Granola Bars

Why do you like it?
I needed a snack to keep at work that was nutritious and didn't have nuts and wasn't too hard to chew (I have currently braces). These are the cinnamon-brown sugar variety and they are tasty. They are full of oatmeal, wheat, barley, apples, cranberries, cinnamon, and brown sugar. All natural ingredients and they are soft and chewy. These taste great without all the junk!
